 Patrons of volunteer tourism pay for the following services:

 

  • You will have the benefit of online information on Grenada, it's cultural norms and project/community.

  • People in Action provides a two day orintation in Grenada to prepare you for your  tour. The  first day there will be a workshop with community members to understand customs and expectations. It ends in a social that will introduce you to your local counterparts who will also introduce you to the project that you will be part of. The second day community members take you for a tour of their beautiful towns and countryside.

  • Accommodation, transport and meals can be arranged to your requirments. We offer a local experience!

  • You are guaranteed projects that help local people, build communities, preserve heritage and cultural interest and the environment

  • PIA's in-country coordinator who provides guidance and inforamtion on a daily basis

  • You will have a more satisfying 'grass-roots' cultural experience

  • People in Action has a crisis management service if things go wrong

  • It can also provides an economical way to travel.
 
  • Provide local expertise for historical, environmental, cultural, social expertise for guidance in academic, educational, media and research travel.

  • You will not just take away the experience of our rich heritage, culture and environment but  your visit would enhance and sustain the lives and environment of the destination you have enjoyed.
